2011 Ram 1500 Meyer Drive Pro 6' 8" SOS Plow Install
Ready to start.
If you squeeze the 4 tabs on the sides of the PDC (Fusebox) under the hood and lift it out and to the side, you can gain access to the vehicle trailer Reverse Signal Wire, again, Reverse Signal Wire (I am sure someone is looking for it on Google right now). Meyer uses it to operate the HFP You might want it for aux. reverse lights, or to connect a camera, etc. The location of wires like this eludes keyboard mechanics.... THIS is one of the reasons Meyer likes the SOS so much. A monkey could hook it up in the rear....
Different truck, same wire, same place, same colors.
Done 3/4 view..
Plow down and angled.
EZ Plus conversion done on this Drive Pro 7' 6" SOS.
These were some of my first SOS installs. I have put up a lot more Meyer Standard Operating System (SOS) info on my site. Four pages right now with more to add as time allows.
