2016 Jeep Wrangler JK Meyer Drive Pro Plow Installation Pictures

First is a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Willys Unlimited with Meyer Drive Pro 6' 8" plow..

As you can see, the front bumper has to come off to install the mount.

Like magic the mount and wiring are done. The Meyer decal is something we add to the Clevis on all of our Drive Pro installs. Not sure why Meyer does not put one on it, so we do. The 1 piece plug is mounted on the same custom bracket we make for all the Jeep Wrangler JK's we install the Meyer Drive Pro 6' 8" plows on.
We use stainless hardware.

A closer look. It is a very clean install on the Jeep Wrangler JK's.

Test fit. All is well. Just need to install the Meyer Nite Saber II plow lights.

2016 Jeep Wrangler 75th Anniversary Edition

This customer drove 2 hours each way to have us install his plow. We did an EZ Plus conversion as well.

Ready to start.

The bumper has to come off to install the mount.

This 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK sits higher than the one above. It is 21" from the bottom of the frame to the ground.

This puts the Clevis at 11" which is PERFECT!

EZ Plus conversion makes mounting SO much easier.

There is A LOT of wire to hide behind the bumper. Notice the plug is hanging down. Once the front bumper is on, there is not enough room to get the plug past the bumper and Clevis to mount the plug.

Mount and wiring are done. I had to move the one piece plug with custom bracket and stainless hardware over a little.

Test fit. All set. The customer walked in the door before I could pull it outside and take some pics with the plow on.

Jeep Wrangler JK Bumper Filler Panel Retainer Fasteners. Fit 2007 - 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK. Sold in pairs. IF you try to remove these chances are you will have to destroy at least one of them. It is VERY rare that they come right out as you hope they will. Sold in pairs.

Here are some Upgrades for all you Meyer Drive Pro 6'8" owners:

Since the pump is attached with pins, it allows a lot of movement. replace the pins with bolts.
Pump Mounting Bolt Kit -

The King Bolt that is standard on the Drive Pro 6'8" is just a grade 8 Bolt. Replace it with a greaseable Grade 8.
