Applicators
& Transfer Pumps handling Liquid Fertilizer:
Pour Fluid Film® NAS into
the intake; turn the pump over once or twice to make sure the liquid is
coating all the interior. When it is time to use the pump again, it will
be in perfect working condition. Fluid Film® Liq. A works well in this
applications as well.
Balers Battery terminals:
Fluid Film is non-conductive, so after you clean around the battery
terminals make your connections, and then spray lightly with Fluid Film®.
The non-drying characteristics of Fluid Film® will provide long term
protection in this application. Fluid Film® will also keep battery hold
downs from corroding.
Bin Slides Blades/Cutters: Coat after sharpening.
Cab Door Hinges Chains:
When it comes to chain lubrication, Fluid Film® is an excellent choice for
a variety of reasons. Most chains fail due to wear and corrosion wear
inside the pin and bushing area. Fluid Film®, with its lanolin base, will
migrate and penetrate to the inside of the chain, preventing wear and
providing extended lubrication because Fluid Film® will not evaporate.
Fluid Film® will also displace any trapped water, leaving a barrier of
protection and containing sufficient body to resist fly off and water wash
off. In dusty environments, Fluid Film® is going to extend chain life by
penetrating to the inside of the chain, providing lubrication, and
resisting dirt buildup on the chain due to its slick, non-tacky
consistency. Fluid Film® holds up under a wide degree of temperatures,
will resist the high moisture present in certain manufacturing plants and,
because it won’t freeze, will prevent chain jam ups due to water frozen in
chain links. Fluid Film® was documented as having extended locomotive
drive chains in salt harvesting machinery by up to 300%.

Cultivators
Fertilizer Spreaders: Hose down fertilizer spreader and apply
Fluid Film®. Fluid Film® can be applied over damp surfaces. Spray Fluid
Film® inside to protect from corrosion.
Hedge Trimmers & Clippers: Fluid Film® works great on trimmers
& clippers. Just apply a light film and let the trimmer run for a few
seconds to allow Fluid Film to penetrate effectively. Fluid Film® will not
burn greenery on cutting devices and will keep sap from sticking to
blades.
Inside Chippers/Shredders
Irrigation Fittings
Locks: Spray small amount of Fluid Film® in lock. Will not freeze,
making cold weather applications especially desirable, providing long-term
lubrication.
Pickup Truck Beds: Apply before bed liner is installed.
Pickup Truck Tailgates: Hinges plus sprayed inside to help keep
them from rusting from the inside out.
Preservation of Equipment Stored Outside
Pruning Sheers & Saws: Fluid Film® will help them slide easily &

Under lawnmower decks: Fluid Film® will prevent any corrosion from
occurring and ease in removal of grass build up.
Winches
Golf Course
Mowers:
One area for equipment health that should be checked regularly (daily) is
under the decks of mowers. When dirt and debris (lawn clippings, etc.)
build-up and aren’t removed they can quickly corrode the deck, shorten the
life of the bearings in the spindles and also contribute to lawn disease.
After a day of mowing, hose out the deck and apply a light spray of Fluid
Film®. Fluid Film® can be applied over a damp surface and will leave a
non-drying film, cutting off all oxygen from the surface and creating a
barrier of protection that will prevent all corrosion from occurring.
Because of its non-drying characteristics, Fluid Film® will also help keep
grass and debris from sticking, making clean-up a breeze.
Golf Carts:
For Golf Carts, Fluid Film® can be used to protect battery terminals.
Being non-conductive, make sure connections are made before applying Fluid
Film®. One application should keep battery terminals corrosion free for at
least a year. Fluid Film® is also an excellent undercoating which will
protect carts from fertilizers, pesticides and grass clippings.
Maintenance & Storage Facilities:
Use Fluid Film® in maintenance & storage facilities to protect from
corrosive elements such as fertilizers, pesticides and grass clippings.
Winterizing:
Equipment not properly maintained or suitably stored during the
cold-weather months can end up raising costs substantially by the time
spring rolls around. Heavy equipment needed during winter months require
extra attention, and proper maintenance during these periods can help
reduce the stresses involved with the cold-weather season. Battery
requirements are greater during winter months while their output is less,
so proper battery care is an important part of equipment maintenance
during winter. Fluid Film ® will effectively stop any corrosion from
occurring, allowing batteries to perform at optimum expenditure during
this period. For equipment being stored indoors or out, a liberal dose of
Fluid Film ® will prevent any corrosion from occurring throughout the
winter season. For equipment stored near fertilizers, Fluid Film ® will
protect all metals from atmospheric exposure.
Dethatchers, Verticutters and Seeders:
Equipment that is put into use for short, intense periods require extra
care to keep lubricated and corrosion free. Using Fluid Film® during prep,
application and storage will keep all metals, chains, tines and blades in
perfect operating condition for each piece of equipment.
Manufacturing /
Industrial Battery Connections:
